“I first met Keith Madison in July 2016 while he was working as a trainer at True Health and Wholeness. Although I would consider myself very active, my poor diet and emotional eating habits raised my body weight to 207 pounds. I have ran several marathons, triathlons, finished two Ironman triathlons, and have completed a countless number of races over the past five years before meeting Keith. I was obese and not satisfied with my athletic performance or the way I looked and felt in my own skin. Over the past 12 months of working with Keith 2-3 times a week, I have lost over 50 pounds, have improved my triathlon race times, and have more self-confidence and strength than ever before. Keith has patiently showed me the importance of strength training and how it can change your body composition. With a passion for team sports my life has always been helping my teammates reach their full potential while they do the same for me. Knowing that my basketball career would come to an end I knew I had to find the perfect career that was team oriented. In 2011 I chose to follow the career path of a personal trainer. Instantly, I fell in love. Personal training is not a job but a fun career path which I enjoy every minute of. Knowing that if teammates work together (trainer and client) then the sky is the limit. I have worked with athletes, Individuals wanting to lose weight, gain muscle, men and women who want to look good on their wedding day, or people wanting overall health The best feeling to me is showing a teammate(client) how to be self sufficient . Meaning having the confidence to walk in any gym or park in the world and know how to exercise properly.
