People should pay close attention to what they eat. Fatty foods lead to more weight, and before you know it, you refuse to wear something revealing because of all that excess fat. There is a way to get rid of that as well. You just have to be persistent and patient with the process.   A good idea to lose weight and strengthen your muscles is to have a good workout regime. The more you sweat, the more calories you burn and your body would be healthier. You just…

Another thing that has grown over time is the rate of obesity.   While these two things are not necessarily correlated, there are…

Happy Father's Day! I am not a father, yet. However, many of our clients, friends, and readers are fathers. Many are fathers who are also killing it in their fitness routines. They do not make excuses! However, I do know being a father, especially a new father can be exhausting and detrimental to your workout routines. Sleep is choppy at best, and nonexistent at worst! Yes, my amazing 4 year old niece is a guilty reason there is fatherly sleep deprivation!     Out of all the trends in fitness,…

Steroids are an artificial form of chemicals, which are designed to function like hormones that are made naturally in the human body. The human body requires a healthy balance of steroids to grow, procreate, and to conduct their daily tasks with least struggle. However, long-term and non-medical uses of synthetic steroids are incredibly unhealthy. They are connected to unwanted physical changes, heart complications, and aggression. Studies have shown that individuals who suddenly discontinue using steroids after long…

There is extensive physical and mental effort required to move forward from addiction and create new healthy habits, so why attempt both at the same time? Holistic addiction treatment for addiction recovery is based on the re-learning of new thought processes that support healthier habits than the ones leading up to an addiction.   It's been awhile since my last entry, and for good reason. My husband has been admitted to the hospital twice in the past 2 weeks. His eczema took a turn for the worse, and had one of the most gruesome flare ups in his life and in our marriage. I'm just thankful he made it through and is recovering so well.   For those of you who don't know, eczema is described as an irritation on the skin, along with red patches, soreness and itchy dry skin. This can…

Most are wondering: is it because of all the sweat?   Technically, no. Sweating is…
